Mr. Bergmark is a Managing Director of Torrey Partners and offers his clients over 25 years of experience providing damage analysis, business valuation, business consulting, and accounting services.  He is retained to address dispute resolution, business management and tax issues on matters ranging from large, international to smaller, local engagements.

Mr. Bergmark has extensive experience providing qualified testimony on complex business, economic, valuation, wage loss, wage and hour, and marital dissolution matters in Federal and State Superior Courts.  The scope of his involvement in litigation matters includes discovery assistance, causation analysis, damage quantification and forensic accounting / fraud investigations.

Mr. Bergmark’s appraisal experience includes the valuation and apportionment of tangible and intangible business assets, analyses prepared for estate and gift tax purposes, marital dissolution, ownership transfers, eminent domain and various consulting matters in a number of industries.

Prior to forming Torrey Partners, Mr. Bergmark’s experience includes working as an auditor with an international accounting firm, a controller for a contractor, a shareholder of Mack|Barclay, and a Director at LECG.

Mr. Bergmark is a graduate of UCLA (Bachelor of Science – Economics Systems Science) and San Diego State University (Master of Business Administration, Finance emphasis).  He is licensed in California as a Certified Public Accountant and is accredited in business valuation by the American Society of Appraisers and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, among other designations.
